Shandong issues the country's first long-term energy storage rules

Shandong Province recently issued the country's first long-term energy storage rules, supporting long-term energy storage pilot projects including compressed air energy storage and liquid flow battery energy storage. The pilot project requires a scale of no less than 100,000 kilowatts and a full-power discharge time of no less than 4 hours. The introduction of this policy aims to promote the increase in the proportion of new energy installed capacity and meet the growing demand for long-term energy storage.
