The new US tariff policy on China will take effect on August 1

The Office of the United States Trade Representative announced that new tariff policies on electric vehicles, batteries, chips and other products imported from China will be officially implemented on August 1. These measures include raising tariffs on electric vehicles to more than 100% and doubling tariffs on semiconductors to 50%.
