Continental and Tencent collaborate on connected car solutions

German automotive parts supplier Continental recently reached a cooperation agreement with Chinese Internet giant Tencent to jointly develop connected car solutions. This cooperation will combine Continental's advantages in automotive electronics and sensor technology with Tencent's expertise in connected car and big data technology to provide automakers with comprehensive connected car solutions, including telematics, in-vehicle infotainment systems and intelligent transportation systems.
