SAIC Motor and Qingtao Energy jointly promote the industrialization of all-solid-state batteries

SAIC Motors announced at the new energy technology conference that it will cooperate with Qingtao Energy to use its solid-state battery technology to promote the development of the "Magic Cube 2.0" power battery system. The SAIC Qingtao joint venture established by the two parties will be committed to the industrialization of all-solid-state batteries, and plans to achieve production line connection in 2025, mass production of batteries in 2026, and mass production and listing of vehicles in 2027. In addition, the two parties have also established an all-solid-state battery industry innovation consortium to jointly tackle key links such as material technology, battery manufacturing and vehicle verification.
