Pony.ai's autonomous truck platooning mode achieves "conditional unmanned operation"

In the demonstration operation of a bulk logistics transportation project in the northwest region, Pony.ai adopted the self-driving truck platooning mode, realizing "conditional unmanned operation". In this mode, three trucks form a formation, with only one safety officer assigned to the leading truck, and the two trucks in the rear formation are unmanned.
