Wuhu Anwa New Energy starts GWh solid-state battery production line

Wuhu Anwa New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., as a holding company of Chery New Energy, has started operating its GWh-level solid-state battery production line. It is reported that this is the world's first equipment that integrates the automatic coating of positive and negative electrodes of solid-state batteries, automatic alignment and lamination of positive electrodes, separators, and negative electrodes, dynamic pulse heat sealing of batteries, visual inspection, laser cutting, and automatic lamination. The production line will greatly simplify the production process of solid-state batteries, shortening it from the traditional 11 steps to 5 steps, thereby reducing fixed asset investment by 30% and saving manufacturing energy consumption by 20%.
