Volkswagen Group and Xpeng Motors Sign Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

Last month, Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will develop a new electronic and electrical architecture based on Xpeng's latest technology, which will be applied to the CMP platform developed by Volkswagen for the Chinese market. Mass production and installation will begin in 2026, when Volkswagen's two models will adopt Xpeng's NGP intelligent driving technology.
