CATL expands production capacity

CATL has production bases in Guiyang and Yibin. Among them, the Guiyang base will start construction in 2022. The first phase of the project is designed according to the high standards of "lighthouse + zero-carbon factory" and adopts advanced high-beat, high-automation and high-flexibility production lines. The total investment is about 7 billion yuan, and the designed annual production capacity is 30GWh of power and energy storage batteries. In October last year, the first phase of the project was officially put into production. In Yibin, CATL currently has a total of 7 factories, including Sichuan Times 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 (Times Changan) and Times Geely, with a total annual production capacity of 180GWh.
