Pony.ai conducts autonomous driving tests on the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway

Pony.ai will conduct "1+N" platoon autonomous driving tests on sections of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway and other roads to support autonomous freight services for large-scale commodity transportation. According to relevant regulations, each vehicle in Pony.ai's autonomous truck platoon is currently required to be equipped with a safety officer. In the future, policies will gradually promote the transformation of the rear vehicle from "no one behind the wheel" to "no one in the vehicle".
