BOE infringes Samsung Display patents, ITC rejects sales ban request

According to reports, the latest preliminary ruling of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) shows that Chinese display panel giant BOE has infringed three technology patents of Samsung Display. However, Samsung Display's request to ban the sale of BOE's related infringing products in the United States was rejected by the ITC. The final ruling of the ITC will be made in March next year, which may affect the release of Apple's iPhone SE 4, which will use BOE's display.
