2024 BMW M5 to be introduced to Chinese market

The new generation of BMW M5 is planned to be introduced to the Chinese market in 2024. This year, the BMW M department plans to bring 10 new cars to the Chinese market, increasing the product lineup to 23 models. The starting prices of the BMW i5 M60, X2 M35i and the new M4 that have been launched are 639,900 yuan, 419,900 yuan and 893,900 yuan respectively. It is expected that by 2027, half of BMW M models will be new energy models. The design sketch of the new M5 has been released, and the travel version M5 Touring will be released in a few months. The new car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 4.4T V8 engine + electric motor, with a maximum power of 718 horsepower and a pure electric range of about 69km (WLTP conditions).
