Nvidia's data center unit revenue hits record $30.8 billion

In the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, Nvidia's revenue reached $35.1 billion, up 94% year-on-year and 17% month-on-month, and better than the market expectation of $33.16 billion. The data center department's revenue reached a record $30.8 billion, up 17% month-on-month and 112% year-on-year; the gaming and artificial intelligence computer department's revenue was $3.3 billion, up 14% month-on-month and 15% year-on-year; the professional visualization department's revenue was $486 million, up 7% month-on-month and 17% year-on-year; the automotive and robotics department's revenue was $449 million, up 30% month-on-month and 72% year-on-year. For the fourth quarter outlook, Nvidia expects revenue of $37.5 billion, up or down 2%.
