Valeo celebrates 30th anniversary in China, demonstrates full-stack capabilities in intelligent driving

Valeo, a company that has been deeply involved in the global automotive parts industry for more than 30 years, ushered in its 30th anniversary celebration in the Chinese market in 2024. Since the launch of the world's first ultrasonic sensor in 1991, Valeo has been committed to promoting the innovation and application of sensor technology in the fields of assisted parking and assisted driving. In 2006, the company launched the Park4U parking system, which realized the control of vehicle steering and made a qualitative leap in assisted parking technology. In 2016, the Park4U Remote system installed on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan realized remote control one-button parking for the first time in the industry. In addition, Valeo is also the world's first company to mass-produce and deliver automotive-grade LiDAR, and its automotive-grade LiDAR products have been iterated to the third generation. In 2023, Valeo's overall sales in China reached 30 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%. It has 35 factories, 14 R&D centers, and more than 4,500 R&D personnel in China.
