Singapore's first autonomous driving sanitation project was successfully launched, and WeRide's sanitation vehicles lead the new era of intelligent sanitation

On November 20, 2024, WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD) announced that its self-driving sanitation vehicle S6 and unmanned road sweeper S1 were officially put into use at the Marina Bay Coastal Boulevard and the Esplanade in Singapore. This is Singapore's first commercially operated self-driving sanitation project, marking the promotion of smart sanitation technology on a larger scale in Singapore. These two products were commercially available in just one week after obtaining the M1 and T1 licenses issued by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore.
