Uneven distribution of public charging stations may affect the popularization of new energy vehicles

233
At present, the distribution of public charging piles is too concentrated. Taking the data from October 2024 as an example, nearly 20% of the charging piles in the Chinese market are concentrated in Guangdong Province. In Europe, the Netherlands, Germany and France account for a total of 58%; in the United States, 26% of public charging piles are concentrated in California. This highly concentrated layout of charging facilities not only limits the freedom of car owners to plan routes, but may also aggravate "charging anxiety", thereby affecting the popularity of new energy vehicles.
