Rivian has carried out two rounds of layoffs this year

Electric car maker Rivian has carried out two rounds of layoffs this year, most recently cutting 1% of its workforce last month, in an effort to improve profit margins as it struggles to control costs as inflation and high interest rates drive consumers toward cheaper hybrid vehicles.
