SAIC and Audi strengthen strategic cooperation in new product development

SAIC Motor and Audi formally signed a cooperation agreement on May 20 to further strengthen their cooperation in the local market. The two parties will jointly develop a new generation of high-end smart electric vehicles for SAIC Audi and jointly develop a smart digital platform. The first batch of models will be three pure electric models positioned in the B-class and C-class car segments. The first product is expected to be officially launched in 2025, and the product development cycle will be significantly shortened by more than 30%.
