Ideal Auto wins defamation lawsuit, court orders Weibo user to publicly apologize and pay compensation

The legal department of Ideal Auto recently announced that they had received a final judgment from the court, which determined that Yu, the owner of the Weibo account "CyberEv_赛博" (now renamed "赛博电"), had violated Ideal Auto's reputation rights by posting multiple Weibo posts suggesting that Ideal Auto had falsified its sales through parallel exports and other means, constituting defamation. The court ruled that Yu should post a public apology on the top of his Weibo account homepage and compensate Ideal Auto for related economic losses and reasonable rights protection expenses. Since Yu did not take the initiative to fulfill his apology obligation within the judgment execution period, the court has implemented compulsory execution, and Yu has now publicly apologized in the newspaper.
