Nvidia suspends testing of Samsung HBM3 chips

Nvidia has suspended testing of Samsung Electronics' HBM3 chips due to heat and power consumption issues, according to people familiar with the matter. The problem affects not only Samsung's HBM3 chips, but also its upcoming fifth-generation HBM3E chips.
