Chilean mining company SQM recently released its first quarter financial report, which showed that the company suffered a net loss of US$869.5 million (about RMB 6.3 billion) and its revenue fell by more than 50%. The average sales price of lithium products fell sharply year-on-year to US$12,600 per ton (about RMB 90,000).
