Dongfeng Technology builds an integrated die-casting production base for new energy vehicles in Junshan New Town, Wuhan Economic Development Zone

Dongfeng Technology has decided to build an integrated die-casting production base for new energy vehicles in Junshan New Town, Wuhan Economic Development Zone. The construction of this new base is expected to start at the end of this month and is expected to be put into use by the end of 2026. The total construction area of ​​this base will reach 48,350 square meters, and it will be equipped with 6 integrated die-casting production lines and supporting machining and connection production lines. Among them, the two 10,000-ton die-casting production lines of the first phase of the project are expected to form an annual production capacity of 200,000 integrated die-casting parts. This project is the second domestic vehicle manufacturer to adopt 16000T integrated die-casting technology after Guangdong Hongtu. It is expected to increase the body rigidity by 10% and reduce the weight by 15%, thereby bringing structural optimization and performance improvement to Dongfeng Motor's new energy vehicle models.
