Indonesia's Ministry of Industry blocks iPhone 16 sales because it does not meet local component production requirements

Indonesia's Industry Ministry blocked the iPhone 16 sales license in October because Apple's local subsidiary PT Apple Indonesia failed to meet the requirement of local production of 40% of the smartphone's components. Currently, the Indonesian Industry Ministry has not made a final decision on Apple's latest proposal.
