BYD independently develops a dedicated chip for intelligent driving, which is expected to be released next year

BYD is developing a dedicated smart driving chip with 80 TOPS computing power, which will cover 80,000-300,000 smart driving models. The research and development of this chip is mainly responsible for the BYD semiconductor team, and is also supported by the 21st Division and other teams. It is reported that the chip packaging may be completed by the 6th Division. In addition, there are suppliers who will provide technical assistance to BYD.
