CATL develops solid-state batteries and plans to launch them on a small scale in 2027

CATL has more than 20,000 R&D personnel, 1,000 of whom are focused on solid-state battery research and development. Zeng Yuqun expects the company to start rolling out solid-state batteries on a small scale in 2027.
