EHang Intelligent and Xinjie Energy jointly developed high-energy solid-state batteries

With the assistance of Hefei International Advanced Technology Application Promotion Center, EHang Intelligent successfully developed a high-energy solid-state battery. This kind of battery was used on the EH216-S drone, which completed a non-stop flight test of 48 minutes and 10 seconds, significantly increasing the battery life by 60% to 90%. This is the world's first unmanned manned electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) using solid-state batteries. This high-performance solid-state lithium battery is provided by Xinjie Energy. It uses metallic lithium as the negative electrode and oxide ceramics as the electrolyte, which has higher energy density and safety. Its energy density has reached 480 Wh/kg and its stability is excellent. It not only improves the flight performance of EH216-S, but also expands future application fields.
