UMC's IC design company SiS to acquire

UMC's IC design company Silicon Integrated Circuit (SiS) plans to complete the acquisition of Shandong Lianliang Semiconductor by the end of the year. The acquisition will make SiS more competitive in the ASIC field and will also help increase its visibility and market share in China.
