Micron Technology plans to build a new DRAM chip plant in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

Micron Technology announced that it will invest approximately RMB 27.7-37 billion to build a new DRAM chip factory in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The factory is scheduled to start construction in early 2026 and start operations by the end of 2027. In addition, the new factory will also be equipped with EUV equipment.
