Tesla opens second Gigafactory in Shanghai

Tesla has built a second Gigafactory in Shanghai, which is focused on energy storage. The factory is expected to be put into production in the first quarter of 2025, with an annual production capacity of 10,000 units and an energy storage scale of nearly 40 GWh.
