Performance of China's commercial vehicle market in October 2024

According to the data of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in October 2024, the commercial vehicle market as a whole showed slight fluctuations. Among them, the production of buses and trucks both declined slightly, but sales increased slightly. Specifically, the total production of commercial vehicles was 290,000 units, a decrease of 1.5% month-on-month and a decrease of 23.3% year-on-year; the total sales volume was 298,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 5% and a year-on-year decrease of 18.3%. In the field of buses, the production was 44,000 units, a month-on-month decrease of 2.4% and a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%; the sales volume was 43,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 3.3% and a year-on-year increase of 1.5%. In the field of trucks, the production was 246,000 units, a month-on-month decrease of 1.3% and a year-on-year decrease of 26%; the sales volume was 255,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 5.3% and a year-on-year decrease of 20.9%.
