Zhejiang Jingneng Microelectronics Co., Ltd. Phase II plant construction started

According to the "Taizhou Daily" report, the second phase of the plant of Zhejiang Jingneng Microelectronics Co., Ltd. has officially started construction. In May last year, Wenling New City Development Zone and Zhejiang Jingneng Microelectronics Co., Ltd. successfully signed a contract for the automotive-grade semiconductor packaging and testing base project, with a total investment of 5.017 billion yuan, which will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project started on December 28, 2023. It mainly established an automotive-grade Si/SiC device advanced packaging production line. It is currently in the equipment entry and debugging stage and is expected to be officially put into production in June. After production, it is expected that more than 396 million single-tube products can be produced each year, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 200 million yuan. The second phase of the project will focus on the research and development, production and sales of business products such as MEMS IC. At the same time, it is planned to move the first phase production line as a whole to the new plant, which is expected to start production in 2026.
