Intel is reportedly conducting large-scale layoffs in Israel, with an expected layoff of more than 1,000 employees. In August of this year, Intel announced a plan to lay off 15% of its global workforce due to a "financial crisis", with an expected layoff of 15,000 employees worldwide. As of the end of September, employees who chose to retire early have officially left the company, and an involuntary layoff plan is currently underway, with the goal of completing the layoff of about 15,000 employees by the end of this year.
