The MOST bus is a data bus technology developed specifically for in-car multimedia applications and is known as the "Multimedia Transmission System". Since the BMW 7 Series first adopted the MOST technology, the technology has become more and more popular, achieving real-time transmission of sound and video to meet the needs of high-end car entertainment devices. The main feature of the MOST bus is that it can achieve a data transmission speed of 24.8Mbit/s while ensuring low cost, while supporting real-time processing of sound and compressed images, as well as synchronous and asynchronous transmission of data.
