Advantages and Applications of FlexRay Bus

The FlexRay bus is a new communication standard designed for in-vehicle networking. It uses a time-based trigger mechanism and has the characteristics of high bandwidth and good fault tolerance. It has certain advantages in real-time, reliability and flexibility. It can be used in passive bus and star network topologies, or in a combined topology of the two. In addition, the FlexRay bus also uses a dual-channel architecture, provides redundancy, and doubles the available bandwidth.
