Vietnam government approves LG Display to invest an additional $1 billion in Haiphong

The Vietnamese government said late on November 14 that it has approved South Korean panel maker LG Display to invest an additional $1 billion in the northern port city of Hai Phong. The funds will be used to increase the production of OLED panels at LG Display's Hai Phong plant and increase the company's total investment in Vietnam to $5.65 billion.
