Volocopter secures funding to complete regulatory approval process for aircraft

Volocopter CEO Dirk Hoke said the company has secured enough funding to complete the regulatory approval process for the aircraft. Volocopter plans to start operations in the first half of 2025. Since its founding in 2011, Volocopter has raised $600 million from German companies and global investors, including Mercedes-Benz Group, DB Schenker, Blackrock and Saudi Arabia's future city project Neom.
