Texas Instruments expands gallium nitride semiconductor manufacturing, quadrupling capacity

Texas Instruments, an American chip giant, announced that its factory in Aizu, Japan has begun producing gallium nitride-based power semiconductors. With the increase in the production capacity of the Aizu factory, combined with the capacity of its existing GaN manufacturing factory in Dallas, Texas, Texas Instruments has now increased its internal production capacity of GaN-based power semiconductors by more than 4 times.
