Rivian begins expansion of Normal plant in the US to produce R2

Rivian has confirmed that it has officially started construction of its factory expansion in Normal, Illinois, in preparation for the production of the all-new R2, a new all-electric mid-size SUV with a range of more than 300 miles and a starting price of around $45,000.
