ASML's performance fell short of expectations, with mainland China becoming the largest market

Dutch lithography giant ASML's performance in the first quarter of 2024 was lower than expected, with net sales of 5.3 billion euros, a year-on-year decline of 21%. However, mainland China has become ASML's largest market, accounting for 49% of its revenue.
