Mercedes-Benz postpones electrification goals and suspends some platform development

Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius said the company will postpone its electrification goals by five years and suspend the development of the MB.EA pure electric platform for large models such as the S-Class and E-Class. Despite this, the company is committed to continuing to update its internal combustion engine vehicle products in the next decade.
