TISAX stands for German Automotive Industry General Information Security Assessment

TISAX, short for German Automotive Industry General Information Security Assessment, originated from Volkswagen's internal information security audit of its partners, with the goal of sharing and protecting sensitive information. It has now been extended to all German automakers (BMW, Daimler, etc.) and Tier 1 suppliers.
