SmartSens achieves milestone of over 100 million CIS chips shipped in a single month

SmartSens, a domestic CMOS image sensor chip manufacturer, announced that in the third quarter of 2024, the company achieved a milestone of more than 100 million CIS (CMOS image sensor) chips shipped in a single month for the first time. According to industry analysis data, as of the first half of 2024, SmartSens ranked first in global shipments in the security field with a market share of more than 50%, ranked top four in the automotive field, and jumped to the top five in the mobile phone field, successfully entering the first echelon of mobile phone CIS manufacturers.
