NVIDIA and SoftBank Join Forces to Make Japan a Global AI Powerhouse

SoftBank Group has partnered with NVIDIA to build Japan's most powerful AI supercomputer using the NVIDIA Blackwell platform, and plans to apply the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell platform to its next-generation supercomputer. In addition, SoftBank Group has successfully trialed the world's first telecommunications network that combines AI and 5G, opening up a source of AI revenue for telecom operators that could be worth billions of dollars. SoftBank Group also plans to create an AI Marketplace using NVIDIA AI Enterprise software to meet demand for local secure AI computing.
