Volkswagen Group and Rivian establish joint venture to jointly develop electronic and electrical architecture

The joint venture between Volkswagen Group and Rivian will be managed by two co-CEOs with equal rights. One is Carsten Helbing, formerly the chief technical engineer of Volkswagen Group, who will serve as the co-CEO and COO of the new joint venture. The other is Wassym Bensaid, the former chief software officer of Rivian, who will serve as the co-CEO and CTO.
