The world's first 6-inch Micro LED mass production line officially started production in Zhuhai

The world's first 6-inch Micro LED mass production line was officially put into operation in Zhuhai Jinwan District on November 6. This is part of BOE Huacan Micro LED wafer manufacturing and packaging test base project, and it is also the world's first Micro LED production line to achieve large-scale mass production. This production line mainly produces Micro LED wafers and pixel devices, which are mainly used in large-size commercial displays, AR/VR head-mounted display devices and wearable devices. It is expected that after full production, it will be able to achieve an annual production capacity of 24,000 Micro LED wafers (6-inch pieces) and 45,000kk Micro LED pixel devices.
