Powertech sells its two production bases in Xi'an and Suzhou

At the end of June this year, Powertech handled two production bases in Xi'an and Suzhou at one time. The Xi'an plant was acquired by Micron for about NT$1.59 billion, while 70% of the equity of the Suzhou plant was taken over by Shenzhen Jiangbolong Electronics for about NT$4.02 billion. The Xi'an plant was completed on June 28. Although it contributed about NT$500 million in revenue per month and had an impact of NT$1.2 billion to NT$1.5 billion on the third quarter's revenue, its gross profit margin increased to 21.4% last quarter due to its lower gross profit, increased capacity utilization and product mix adjustments.
