Amazon's AI chip Inferentia can reduce operating costs by 40%

Amazon said that the running cost of its other specialized AI chip "Inferentia" for generating responses from AI models has been reduced by 40%. Dave Brown, vice president of AWS computing and network services, said: "When we talk about machine learning and artificial intelligence, cloud computing prices tend to be much higher. When you save 40% of $1,000, it doesn't really affect your choice. But when you save 40% of tens of millions of dollars, it affects your choice."
