RIR Power Electronics Limited builds SiC manufacturing facility in Odisha, India

On September 4, RIR Power Electronics Limited, a subsidiary of Silicon Power Group in India, announced that the company has laid the foundation stone for a SiC manufacturing plant in Odisha, India, with an investment of 6.2 billion rupees. The plant will be used to produce 6-inch SiC wafers and is expected to be fully operational in 2025.
