India's SiCSem plans to build SiC manufacturing, assembly, testing and packaging plants

In mid-June this year, SiCSem, headquartered in Chennai, India, announced plans to build a silicon carbide (SiC) manufacturing, assembly, testing and packaging (ATMP) factory in Odisha, India. At the same time, SiCSem signed a cooperation agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT-BBS) on research in the field of compound semiconductors.
