Overview of China's automobile production and sales data from January to October 2024

According to the latest data, from January to October 2024, China's automobile production and sales reached 24.466 million and 24.624 million respectively, up 1.9% and 2.7% year-on-year respectively. Among them, the cumulative sales of passenger cars were 21.434 million, up 3.7% year-on-year; the cumulative sales of commercial vehicles were 3.190 million, down 3.4% year-on-year. The cumulative sales of new energy vehicles were 9.750 million, up 33.9% year-on-year. The cumulative sales of Chinese brand passenger cars were 13.849 million, up 21.2% year-on-year. The cumulative export volume of automobiles was 4.855 million, up 23.8% year-on-year.
