Continental CEO Stuart Schütz recently said that the company's three major sub-groups are ready to operate independently. In particular, the automotive sub-group plans to meet the split requirements by the end of 2025, and the split plan is currently in the evaluation stage. According to IT Home, as one of Europe's largest automotive industry suppliers, Continental is considering splitting the company by listing its core automotive division. This division has annual sales of 20.3 billion euros and has about 100,000 employees, accounting for about half of Continental's business.
